1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 large onions, finely chopped
1 tablespoon grated ginger
3 garlic cloves- grated
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon crushed red chillies
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
2 green bell peppers sliced
4 ripe tomatoes sliced
225 g Paneer cubed ( I used low fat paneer)
Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the cumin seeds. Let the cumin seeds brown a little, than add the onions. Stir and fry until soft and well blended. Add the rest of the spice powders and fry for a few minutes. Add the peppers and simmer for about 8 minutes. Add the tomatoes and the paneer cheese and cook for a few minutes until soft but not mushy. Garnish with coriander. Serve with brown short grain rice.
